| Cameroon: Let's be Serious !
News of the resignation of the head coach of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, Arie Haan, came like an unexpected slap on the face. True, the relationship between the dutch technician and those who proposed him for employment, the Cameroon Football Federation, FECAFOOT, had not been the best during the last two months. The malaise was made public when the GM of FECAFOOT declared that the coach was "missing". The statement greatly shocked Arie Haan who claimed officials of FECAFOOT knew where he was and were also aware of what he was doing! Despite all these misunderstandings, very few Cameroonians could foresee a resignation of the coach barely a week to a friendly encounter against Togo in Lome and some seven weeks to the resumption of the qualifiers for the 2008 African Cup of Nations in Ghana.

Apparently, his analysis was compelling enough to alarm Prudentials metals analysts, who wrote Tuesday, Simply put, we worry that Botox, cosmetic surgery, skin treatments and other advances rapidly penetrating the third world could displace more jewelry purchases than flat screen TVs, cell phones, PCs, or legal drugs already do.
